how was your feelings about scene where Mo Lang was appeared? I'm just curious cuz you don't read the prequel and don't know his story and his personality

It was definitely "aw god DAMNIT what is it this time" when I saw him take the blood demon into his sword thing .. and like, panic of "aw fuck who's this guy."

From the few pages I HAVE seen it makes me really curious what happened to Mo Lang now that 40 years later he looks so gruff and serious? He seemed a lot more jokey and less serious in the page I saw and also. Why did he take the blood demon? AND ALSO WHY WAS HE THERE? WHY WAS HE THERE? WAS HE JUST AROUND THE BLOCK? FUCK WAS THAT ABOUT? OUT FOR A STROLL??

I dunno where Mo Lang's power comes from originally (someone spoil it for me please) or why him taking what was left of the blood demon is significant. All I understand at this point is that he did and knowing this show it's going to come back later and bite me in the ass.

I also dunno how I feel about the running theory that Mo Lang is Seven's father? I think I like Seven more like, parentless. Without any influences on him or anything. I mean the show has already proven that being.. the way he is is just a part of his nature, the way he's kind and protective, but if the explanation for "why he fights like that" and "why he just came out of nowhere" is that Mo Lang is his dad it feels really disappointing. I don't want Mo Lang being his dad to magically make everything make sense or be like the KEY part we were missing in Seven's life. I mean of course I want an answer as to why he joined the Shadow Killers at 15, and why he could fight the way he could, and where he came from, but if that all just boils down to "cus Mo Lang was his dad lol so he got it from him" that feels. Disappointing. For like the same reason Thirteen isn't a good fighter cause she's a Plum Blossom, it's cause she fought to become one. I don't want Seven to just inherently be how he is cause Mo Lang is his dad, I want him to naturally have the personality that he does, and to have worked for the martial prowess he had back when he was 15-18.

Does that make sense? I feel like I'm getting nonsensical. The point is I don't know how I feel about Mo Lang possibly being his dad because I don't know what exactly that means for him. I don't know if I like the fact that we always could've known who his dad was, it was just in the prequel, and we've always had the answer all along. I want it to be something new, I want Seven's parents and his origin to be something new that we didn't always have the answer sitting right there. I want us to have the clues not the answer

I think I'd like it if Mo Lang was part of his life, generally. I don't mind Mo Lang being there, I just don't want him to be the answer. I also wanna know just, why he's there anyways, because as far as I understand Mo Lang is like 18 or so in the prequel, the prequel is 25 years before Seven is even born, and then it's another 20 years later, the man is pushing like fucking 60 what the hell is his old ass doing

This is really all over the place I'm sorry I don't think I shared my thoughts about Mo Lang much yet lol. He looks cool
